Adrien Auclert

Adrien Auclert is an Associate Professor of Economics at Stanford University, a faculty research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), a research fellow at the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), and a senior fellow of the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR). He has been a visiting professor at Princeton and at the University of Chicago. He is a member of the Council of Economic Analysis to the French Prime Minister and a Foreign Editor at the Review of Economic Studies. Adrien studied at Ecole Centrale and at ENSAE in Paris, and received his PhD in economics from MIT in 2015. As part of his research on macroeconomics, Adrien has worked on monetary policy, fiscal policy, exchange rates, inequality, consumer bankruptcy, price setting, sovereign default, and demographic change. He was awarded an NSF CAREER award in 2021 and a Sloan Research Fellowship in 2022.
